Kabob Korner, Inc. seeks to fill the position of Human Resource Coordinator.
JOB DUTIES: Responsible to set and implement the systems in place for training modules of employees with different job descriptions within the organization, and also work closely to help enhance Kabob Korner training modules for their respective employees, for example: server proficiency on menu items and special items; training modules for sales staff on catering related sales; and training modules for all tiers of kitchen employees. Responsible to maintain the continuing education and training of employees on relevant issues, such as: health and sanitation rules, menu and recipe updates, portion prices & waste control, and workshops on serving and enhanced presentation techniques. Responsible to advise the managers in creating effective back end procedures, such as: scheduling and wage forecasting vs. the revenue generated for a smart and profitable work place. Responsible to create and implement a viable human resources mechanism within the organization, and for partner organization to ensure a productive and efficient business model for future growth and expansion. Responsible to hire, train and retain workforce to keep smooth flow of work with effective staffing. Responsible to manage compensation and benefits of employees on timely manner. Help supervisors manage weekly scheduling of staff by keeping it according to Kabob Korner’s budgets. Responsible to hold monthly performance meetings to Evaluate performance of employees’ and for business. Maintain current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines and laws, such as the American Disabilities Act (ACA), and state employment laws. Implement Harris county public health training related to food handling, food management, and evaluate performance of employees.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Proficiency of Microsoft Office; Proficiency in QuickBooks; Minimum 6 months knowledge in Data Analysis. Education requirements: minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field; Work experience requirements: minimum 24 months in business, human resources, or related field.
SALARY: $57,242.00/per year.
